What is the EWMC?
The EWMC is an organization affiliated with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. The Local 2150 chapter was established in 2015. Community outreach is the main focus of the EWMC. Our group has participated in several community service events throughout the year. We have adopted a stretch of highway in Brookfield and perform clean ups four times each year. Helping at shelters with cleanup and minor maintenance or serving food is another thing we commonly do. On the National Day of Service, we spent the day weeding and mulching the serenity garden in the brain injury area at the VA hospital. The goal in these events is to help Local 2150 members give back to their communities and get the 2150 name out there.
The Local 2150 EWMC chapter is open to ALL 2150 Members! If you are interested in learning more about the group and what they do I encourage you to show up to the meet and greet event at the Pallas restaurant on November 1st at 6:00 pm and have your questions answered.
