IBEW CONVENTION DELEGATES VOTE FOR DUES CHANGES

The 39th International Convention was held in St. Louis, Missouri, in September 2016.  At the convention, decisions were made to help increase the strength of IBEW local unions and the members we represent.

An increase to International per capita dues was also approved at the convention.  The changes to the “A” member Pension Benefit Fund and Basic/International per capita monthly dues for “A” and “BA” members are as follows:

    $1.00 Basic & per capita increase effective 1/1/18    (“A” and “BA” members)

    $1.00 Pension Benefit Fund increase effective 1/1/19    (“A” members only)

    $1.00 Basic and per capita increase effective 1/1/20    (“A” and “BA” members)

Following are the total monthly dues “A” members pay which are in addition to the work dues that are calculated according to the Bylaws of L.U. 2150:

Effective 1/1/18        $38.00

Effective 1/1/19        $39.00

Effective 1/1/20        $40.00

The monthly dues formula paid to the local’s operating expenses has not changed and is calculated according to the Bylaws of L.U. 2150.

ATTENTION “A” MEMBERS

ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO PAY MONTHLY BASIC AND PER CAPITA DUES

DIRECTLY TO IBEW L.U. 2150

Based on the 39th International Convention increases listed above, beginning with the month of January 2018, “A” members who pay monthly International basic and per capita dues directly to L.U. 2150 should pay as follows due to the increase in the monthly basic and per capita dues portion of your dues payment.

$38.00 per month

$114.00 per quarter

$228.00 for six (6) months

$456.00 for the year 2018

ATTENTION “BA” MEMBERS

Effective with your dues payments for January 2018, monthly basic and per capita dues will increase by $1.00 per month to $20.00.  This increase was also approved by the delegates to the 39th International Convention held in September 2016.
